On February 4, 2017, P19 Well perforation job successfuly ignited, marking a new breakthrough for ZPEC’s Logging Center.

 

In order to reach the goals of independent operation and reduced costs, in November 2016, after much research and preparation, the Logging Center coordinated relevant units for the transportation of the explosive devices needed for the P19 Wells.  When the Team began to travel between the base and well site, discussing the scheme, finalizing the process, improving the operational details, etc, the work was finished in just 12 hours.  This achievemant won the client’s praise because other companies need two days to complete the same process.

 

Before construction, the Logging Center processed all types of potential risks in the comprehensive evaluation.  Under the guidance of the leaders and experts, the process of taking size, scraping, cleaning, and eliminating other problems (due to the coating of the drilling tool for booster ignition can bring hidden trouble) was completed.  On February 4, 2017 at 11:00pm, with the perforating string adjustment in place, the fire rod was put into the hole.  Then, after a six minute wait, thunder from underground proclaimed a successful perforation. This is the first well that ZPEC’s Logging Center had independently perforated.  It also is the first completion well operation in the New Year, fulfilling the expectation of the ZPEC Logging Team.  This event has provided much inspiration, growing in their strength and confidence, the Logging Center has created a better and more thorough performance in the overseas’ arena.
